Alex an da Qualps

A fine sunny morning, and warm again.  It started to cloud over after lunch, and showers this evening.  The wind has picked up.

Another morning working in the museum office.  Scanning some old glass negatives today.  I was down in the museum desk in the afternoon.  I headed down the road at lunchtime, and managed a beach clean.  Another bag filled, but below mam's is fairly cleared from plastic now.  A quiet evening, walkies with Sammy, and then off to work in the pub later.

After my beach clean, I bumped into James Dodge.  His dad, Peter, used to take me on a tour of the croft at this time of year, so it was a pleasure for to get a tour from James today.  Some cows have calfed, waiting for more, the ewes have lambs, and some caddy lambs too, the chickens busy doing chicken things, the pigs are getting fat, and then the dogs!  And not only dogs, qualps (puppies) too!  Six peerie bundles of joy charging about.  Full of licks, bites, cuddles and more.  Five have homes already, and not sure of Sammy would want a peerie brother.  I'll certainly be back to play with them again, take nieces and nephews for a look.  A busy time on the croft, and more so with this bunch about your feet.  Here's Alex Dodge, with mam and dad dogs, and a some of the puppies.  Taken at Aith, Cunningsburgh.
