The magnificent age of steam

Blast! Missed it.

Just as I rounded the corner to head down New Street towards Calton Road, a magnificent steam train started its journey from Waverley Station. It was a grand sight, but you'll have to take my word for it, because it had gone by the time I'd pulled in to the side of the road and taken the shot.
