Flower hour

I forgot I had a tree peony until I spotted this big bud the other day during Weed Clearance Time. And it’s white! One of my favourite colours for flowers, what a lovely surprise. This is what my future is - being happily surprised by things I already own.

Huge relief as the Big Work thing went out in the small hours. And I did a little bit of work instead of just anxiously hovering around a variety of projects. A calmer day which was celebrated with a roast chicken, gardening half hour followed by yoga half hour. And now I have a glass of wine, it’s like I just can’t stop treating myself.
