Walk on the Wildside
Went to Ilkley to watch Kitty recite her poem ( Bed In Summer by Robert Louis Stevenson) at the Wharfedale Festival of Performing Arts, now in its 112th year.
Had been to see Verity yesterday and it was interesting that they both got the same score and were highly commended.
As it was such a lovely morning l decided to walk the few miles home and detoured through a local nature reserve that runs alongside a busy major trunk road.
Hard to tell there is traffic roaring past only a few metres away.
The smell of the wild garlic was heavy in the air, good job l love it’s aroma.
There was a bit of sun hitting the green through the trees so lm stretching it a bit to include it in Wide Wednesday, thanks Bob.
