Whitebells
An early morning walk around Etherow with Thomas, looking out for baby ducks but still none to be seen, we did see some baby coots though, and a Canada goose stretching her legs from sitting on her eggs. Up in the woods sitting on our favourite bench for a snack I spotted these whitebells, according to the woodland Trust they may be a hybrid Spanish blue bell that are becoming increasingly common and are diluting the gene pool of our native blue bells.
