Art From the U of M

Lisa had a quick medical test to have done at the University of Michigan. So, while she was waiting, I took a walk through the halls of the hospital.

They have a lot of art on display. But...as usual...art is in the eye of the beholder. I like all 3 of the ceramic tea pitchers on top, but the bronzes in the middle row aren't my...aren't my...cup of tea. And...I love the doctor painting and the big bronze.

Some of the pieces are for sale, including the 3 small bronzes in the middle row. The turtle goes for 12 hundred, the "giraffes" go for 35 hundred, and the dog is a steal for a thousand.

The last picture in the lower right is of the garden area of the hospital. Spring is finally arriving, and people were outside enjoying it.
