Chinese lock

The brass lock and key from a Chinese chest had been separated for years, but today I managed to reunite them.  I don't have the carved wooden box, although I remember the day it arrived at our house in Chester in the 1960s, shipped in a wooden crate from Hong Kong.  The packing crate had been quite badly damaged but luckily the contents were safe.
