Her birthday
We spent the first two days of our break, including her actual birthday, at the little beach cottage her father built in the early 70s. Her arms are still healing, and she is often fatigued, but she has a wonderful sense of humor about it. She and her seven siblings are and have always been athletes, and their vacations usually involve long, strenuous hikes, the more treacherous the better. We decided to make a series of photos of our Lying Down Vacation.
We discovered it is possible to Lie Down almost anywhere--and she did, as will be revealed in successive blips. I just posted May 1 and 2. The others will appear as soon as I have time to post them. We had a glorious time that included reading some powerful poetry aloud to each other, a new project to work on together, some sunshine, World Labyrinth Day, the Pacific Ocean, and a pod of whales circling and playing about 100 yards away from us for two days.
