A bit of brightness

The rest of the country was basking in a heatwave, but up here it was wet and windy, and decidedly chilly!  Got the ironing done and caught up with shop secretarial duties while Mike was beavering away in his workshop, cracking on with the shed he's making me.  

There will be other days for sitting in the sun in the garden!  

When we got home from choir this evening we celebrated our wedding anniversary with whisky and fruit cake!
