Plechelmus

This is the Plechelmus Square in Oldenzaal. The square has been under construction for some years now. The works have been delayed by the retrieval of thousand of graves that were found around the church. To honor the people that were buried here between approximately 900 and 1400, the community has decided to apply very special bricks in the pavement. 30.000 bricks have been signed with a little cross.

The square will be ready by the spring of 2013.
