I spent most of the day weeding.  I have scratched the surface but feels good.  the dandelions are particularly difficult to remove and I always seem to leave part of the root behind.  And each year they try again.  It was a bit like meeting an old friend.

There is so much going on in the garden.  Last autumn we had to fell an ash tree and the plants underneath the canopy are enjoying some high quality spring sunshine.  The red tulips are responding well with such fabulous colour.  Wonderful.
