More storms

We worked b****y hard today, even by our own standards.  I won't list it all, but we were pretty knackered come 5pm.  So we opened a bottle of muscat bubbly (just 7.5%) and sat on the back terrace until the storm clouds eventually chased us indoors.  This is typical weather for this time of year.  The hot days heat up the land and the swiftly cooling evening air causes those warm air updrafts that result in thunderstorms; all exacerbated by the fact that we are in the foothills of the Massif Central.  Anyway, it leads to interesting stormy skies.
