Hosta
I blipped this last year, possibly more than once, but it looks so interesting as the leaves start to emerge that it more or less asks to be photographed. It has a lovely combination of sage green, cream and what might be described as smoke mauve. Once the leaves are fully out it does look fabulous, but has lost the slight unreality of this earlier stage. And then when the slugs and snails finally get to it things go downhill rather. But it'll be a while before that happens.
