Tail of The Unexpected

What an exhilarating afternoon it was at the Abingdon Air Show.

The highlight for me had to be the Muscle Biplane, flown by Rich Goodwin, matching the speed of a Jag being driven along the runway. It wasn't until I loaded my images, that I realised the driver of the car was leaning out of the vehicle and touching the tail of the plane!

Another favourite of mine is the enigmatic Spitfire, which never disappoints and so all in all, despite the soaring temperatures, it was a really good day. 

We rounded it off with a dinner in the garden followed by a fire pit. Good company and lots of laughs.

I've added a mono version as an Extra as I thought that taking away the colour added more drama.
