Slap

Nice family.  Not sure the tortoise appreciated being slapped in the face repeatedly with bok choy, never being allowed to hibernate and not having it's nails cut but who really knows what goes on inside the mind of a tortoise.

Extra is:  "Life is better at the beach".  It was and I took some 4x5 instant portraits too!
