Caught this guy scratching an itch - it was actually pretty funny. It's the same heron I've seen many times (I believe) and he/she takes his/her grooming very seriously. Cleaning feathers and rummaging around, probably looking for bugs. I couldn't really see what it was doing until I looked at the picture on the camera. 

Also caught a procession of geese and babies floating on by (extra). I count 13 chicks. Not pictured, there was one goose out front and one in the vanguard, looking like sturdy bodyguards. 

All in all, a good day bird-wise!
