Baby....

....iris plant, just coming up. 
It was a little after 5 p.m. here and I'd never left the house at all today--realized I had to go outside to look for something to blip--& I liked the shapes and shadows of these leaves with the sun hitting them. I spent most of this gorgeous day just reading......what a treat! My girls are on an adventure, so it's quiet and relaxing and when I sat down to read, no one was clamoring for my attention, so I was able to read the entire book in one sitting! Pure bliss!!  :))))
