A Sunny Day

I was out with Finlay before 7 this morning, to avoid going out in the heat later. He doesn't cope well as it is such hard work hopping.

Looking up I spotted this branch covered in bright green leaves, catching the sun and looking splendid against the bright blue sky.

Spent the rest of the day hacking down a rampant shrub and trying to dig out the enormous taproots. Probably cleared about half so far! Very hard work in the heat. Plenty of pain relief needed this evening…mostly in the form of home brewed beer :-)
