Race Day

I love it when people out do themesleves. Our friend T booked the Tour de Yorkshire sportive today along with L&moi and her hubby C. She’d not cycled half the distance and had all kinds of anxiety about clippy peddles and lots of riders, and gears and cars. Yesterday morning she wasn’t going to turn up, but persuaded herself to join the troupe.
A slow start, we got out of the city, she ground out the hills, we all delighted with the country riding and warm sun and the grandstand finish and we are planning the next one. Well done T, still becoming.
