Day at the races

I brought my mom to Lake Whatcom to watch the racers come in from the Whatcom Classic, a race Wilson and Paul were both in. Not needing our constant attention, the finish buoy is somewhere behind my mom, who became much more interested in dandelions, leaves, and makeshift vases to hold them in. And look at all that beautiful grass!

The menfolk did well: Paul finished his first ever surfski race (5.5 miles) and Wilson came in 3rd in his double (12 miles).
