I could not wait to get home tonight to decorate the house for Halloween before the girls came home!

It was fab, skeletons, pumpkin balloons with lights in them, loads of sweets and cakes, cobwebs, rats, spiders, halloween tinsle and monster lanterns.

They were so chuffed - they ran upstairs and got changed into their outfits straight away. Jeanne was a Gothic Vampire complete with black veil and Eve was a spooky witch.

Lily couldn't get back but she sent photos of her as a dead bride...looking brilliant.
First job was to carve the pumpkins - Eve wanted a cat...so we did that (me carving and Eve scooping) J wanted a traditional scary face (as usual) so her and D made that little fella!

The house stinks of pumpkin. But no matter...the girls were thrilled.

Next up was bobbing for apples, a LOT more difficult than I remember from when I was a kid. Very funny though. Wet faces all round.

Finally we played games with Maltesers...pick them up using only a straw or a fork?

What is your weapon of choice?

D was the only one to pick a fork and he beat us by miles. I think he used some dubious scoopage methods though.

Once the girls were finally in bed...I had full unlimited access to the remaining Maltesers.

Who's winning now eh? WHO'S WINNING NOW?
