So cool!
Wall to wall sunshine in these parts today and a most welcome heady 23 degrees....how very beautiful Yorkshire looks with the blue skies, green fields, white sheep and lambs and pink and white blossom trees.
And then the colour of Le Tour de Yorkshire. The final stage 4 today, which passed through Haworth at about 1pm. What a carnival of excitement, flag waving, bunting and colour. Oh the number and noise of police bikes, cars, ambulances and tour cars, all with whistles and sirens blaring, whilst waving at and high fiving the crowds as they whizzed through. And then the cyclists.... passed in seconds... and despite the heat of the day and toil of our hills (this stage isn't called 'The Yorkshire Terrior' for nothing!) even when zoomed in close, I couldn't see a bead of sweat on these athletes.........oh how cool!
Couple of extras, a walk around Haworth whilst waiting for the event....where I came across a very cute munching pony with very nice teeth :)
