Anthony waits to cross the road

Mrs P and I went to the Scottish Gallery of Modern Art to see the Picasso & Modern British Art exhibition. I didn't expect to like it much, being largely ignorant of this period.

Actually I quite liked his earlier works, but I'm still baffled by the later half. And if I never saw another Graham Sutherland or Henry Moore again, that would be just fine.

The figure is the first of the series 6 TIMES across Edinburgh by Anthony Gormley. It's a complete figure, based on the artist, and partly buried.
