That's what he said his name was anyway. Interesting bloke. He was one of many older people riding their rented battery-powered trikes along the promenade of Los Cristianos. Like an Ancient Mariner, he practically told us his life story, spiced with occasional saucy-seaside-postcard jokes. He had lived through some fascinating times, and met some fascinating people. I wish I had taken notes because I've forgotten most of what he told us. It was fascinating though, I do remember that.
