Hummer Time

The local hummers are a funny bunch. We got a new feeder with flowers, a nice perch and yet they refuse to use it.. They prefer the one with just 4 holes in it.. no flowers..

A quiet morning followed by picking up the ice cream and seeing my dad. He was in good spirits today. A soft voice, talked with his eyes close but appreciated that I came to see him. His hands weren't working today (things come and go) so one spoonful at a time, I fed him the ice cream he really likes.. Vanilla chocolate swirl.. 

Tonight I'm just watching blips go by and listening to the birds.. Tomorrow I'm headed down for a walk in an estuary followed up by going to the local farmers market.. A good way to spend a Sunday...
