Glenridding Dodd

What a lovely day! We arrived at Glenridding after travelling through low cloud and fog, to find the sky clearing and the sun peeking through. As we started to climb the skies cleared and it got hot!
Andrew and Katie are getting fit for the Himalayas, I am trying to get ready for Canada, and Katie's mum and friend are doing all the Wainwright's! What a determined team!
But better than that we spotted the very special and rare mountain bumblebee with its bright red tail, in fact about 20 as we passed at least two colonies! This is a new one for me so I was extra delighted with the walk ( see extra )
