Negotiating Terms of Marriage

It was so funny watching these two grey herons in the tree tops, clearly they had not made up their minds to nest together yet! There was screeching, posturing (see extra) but no nesting material being brought in.

One of the other "high spots" of the day was walking up to a high pasture with Helen on an adventurous route involving trees blown over in the winter. Where the snow had melted crocuses and snow bells (second extra) were coming up in their thousands!

No. 1 grandchild is here to work on maths probability with grandad. After which we had our first fondue of the year on the terrace with cowbells ringing behind the house and a stormy mountain view in front. Doesn't get more Swiss than that!
