Upton

There was a fantastic atmosphere today at Upton-upon-Severn Folk Festival, so colourful and so much energy despite the very hot day. Mrsfb used to dance here in her Morris clog dancing days, and we met a few old friends, one we hadn't seen for 20 years or so. I could have posted so many images, but I will run out of extras if I don't show some restraint!

The main image is of some girls who were brilliantly dressed like an afternoon tea! I'm not sure they were dancing, they looked a bit too cool! The extras show a set of beer tankards (a lot of drinking takes place at these events!) belonging I think to the Cotswold side who were dancing, plus a very colourful musician giving an impromptu performance  outside a pub.

The festival runs tomorrow and Monday if anyone is thinking of going. It's well worth it!
