The coo says, “Moo”

When I married my husband he had a cleaner, Bunty. She had been part of his first family and quickly became integral to ours. Cleaner is an insult - she was an aunt, Nannie - part of the wider family. She played a major part in the happy childhoods of our children and I hope in her latter years I repaid a small part of what we owed her.
Anyway, in true Doric style , she used to tell the children, “The coo says moo.”
