Platform Supply Vessel

An unidentified Offshore Supply Vessel berthed in Aberdeen Harbour, close to the City Centre, this evening.

This dramatic view up the rear deck could inspire a few designs for space vessels in the new Star Wars trilogy that was announced today.

To add to the Star Wars feel, the neighbouring berth was occupied by the Anchor Handling Vessel Stril Commander, out of its home port of Stavanger in Norway. Surely someone could construct a role in the films for a force of marauding Strils, under a suitably forceful Commander?

[Personally I've always found Strils to be completely uncontrollable, but if they can manage that in Stavanger, good luck to them I say.]
