Branklyn Gardens

After a morning gettng grant application forms completed we went to Perth to see if I could get walking boots to fit. I'd tracked down a make that looked hopeful and the nearest stockist is a very good outdoor shop in Perth. They were very helpful and I am now trying them out in the house.
We had a bit of spare time so went for a quick walk round the NTS Branklyn Gardens, famous for their blue meconopsis. They weren't out but a lot of things were (see extras) and it looks as if there was a sudden explosion of bloom. This anemone caught my eye, it really did look like this.
This evening we went to an organised, but not timed, run in Tentsmuir forest, a nice evening for it.
