My new friend!

With a big happy Halloween grin... he's been keeping an eye on me since the weekend when I made pumpkin soup (he said he'd rather be soup than a pie).
Delicious! Fresh ginger, nutmeg, black pepper and a tiny bit of earthy turmeric made a warming brew (and he's still smiling!).
