Finally reached the weekend!
Wood carving by Dutch master craftsman, Grinling Gibbins, renowned for his skill in moulding and carving wood.
It's in the old dining room now known as the Edwin Muir Room in honour of the Orcadian poet and novelist. Warden and tutor at Newbattle Abbey College from 1950-55.
