100th Anniversary

This year marks 100 years of the RAF to mark the occasion a trail similar to the barons and knights that I have blipped in past years has been put into place. The trail is made up of wing sculptures and have been place in and around the city and surrounding parts of the county.I will probably take a few photos of some of them but wont look at visiting all 100.
The 100 wings, each styled on a different aircraft, act as information panels, telling the stories of 100 people who have experienced life in the RAF since its foundation in 1918 – which led to Lincolnshire becoming known as Bomber County.
It is  a great tribute to the RAF but personally  I think they could have been designed a little better as they are made up of 2 sheets of metal with pieces of timber in between.
