Promise

When is a lawn not a lawn? There is some grass in there, but a whole host of other goodies too.

A few moments ago, I'd finished clearing over 150 sycamore seedlings from this patch and the surrounds - about 4 square meters in all. This part of the lawn won't be mown until September, to make space for the yellow rattle, oxeye, primulas, clover and others to grow, so the tree seedlings had to be pulled out.
