Woodland Reflections

I've had a busy few days recently and I was in need of some 'me' time, so I strolled round the country park for a couple of hours.  It was nice and warm but very cloudy and overcast and I think most of the birds must have been sitting on eggs because it was very quiet.  I decided to head for the river to see if the Mayflies had emerged yet and spotted someone who appeared to be communing with the river ( see 2nd extra) in the spot where the Mayflies first come out........so I left her in peace :-)
I thought " I'll go down to the other part of the river across the meadow" and set off in that direction, only to be greeted by the creatures in the 1st extra who were extremely keen to check me out ( I was particularly disturbed by the one in the middle, who was winking at me..........and it really was winking as in a separate photo it's eye is fine and open) ...........cowardice got the better of me and I decided not brave the herd, although they would probably have been ok.....I think they were just curious  ;-))
I walked through the nature reserve instead and found these lovely reflections...........and I'm sure the Mayflies will still be around next week  ;-)))
