Fly away

I'm fortunate that this daisy growing outside my office window seems to flower for most of the year.  It means that it only takes a minute to duck out for a quick photo.  And usually I can find some sort of critter hanging out there.

These flys are fascinating - their stripes make them look like bees but the face shows that they are actually a fly.  Particularly the faceted eyes.
