Tom and Jerry

I could have done with a real one of these fellas today. There I was, beavering away, when out of the corner of my eye I spied a fast-running little four-legged friend - let's call him 'Jerry' - scampering along my desk! Cue blood-curdling scream (how appropriate for Halloween).

As for 'Tom', he represents Dick Whittington's cat, and sits at the point where Dick heard the Bow Bells of London ringing, and turned around believing they were sending him a message.
