A day on the Hill where I bickered with Tim all day.
I think he has lost some joy, and he wouldn't elucidate.
What I suspect, is not good. But with some people it is a fine line between backing off and pushing the issue. I backed off.
The day started off well enough and a mooch around old mine workings is always an Interesting detour.
The top clagged in as we got there, and cleared on the way down. How normal.
But, we did meet up with a Volunteer Ranger on the way down who dressees like a hippie, visits the summit of Snowdon most days and leads guided trips abroad.
Ray dimmock is 79 years old.. There's hope for us all. A thoroughly nice bloke, I hit it off with him immediately.
