Felled by the wind

this very tall canna lily (about 9ft tall) was lying all over other plants in the Government Gardens this afternoon.  I liked how it glistened in the late afternoon sunshine.  Lots of very fit looking people walking by with their registration bags for the Rotorua Marathon in the morning.  It looks like they will have a cool but fine morning which is great.
