The Hat Stall

Another new stall has appeared on the market today and the hats on display looked a cross between chic and retro. The 'sweetie man' (man from Liverpool who sells sweets) who is the usual owner of this pitch was not there today, which was a nuisance as I needed to buy some sweeties for those little darlings who are braving the horrid weather this evening to bang on doors to 'trick or treat'. So instead I went to Iceland and bought a bag of Haribo mega-party minis just in case.

I am hopeful there will be no cold callers but I know that the neighbour's two lovely kids will want to show us their scary outfits so we should be prepared for a visitation from them at least. I don't mind the little ones but not keen on the older variety of trick or treaters!!
