Quod oculus meus videt

Yet Another Sunrise!

With sunrise now being 5:33 am in this part of the country, any time I make a sunrise it is something of a celebration.  I never set an alarm so am very much at the vagaries of the body clock.  Recent matters have meant I've tended not to sleep that well so when I woke and looked out the window, it was a mad dash to a suitable location.

It was a difficult sunrise to photograph.  You'll see from the photo that there was cloud above, with a relatively small area of clearish sky on the eastern horizon.  Including the sun caused flaring with the lens I was using so I purposely re-composed to leave it out of the frame.  This majestic tree was being side lit and the bright area on the right balanced the composition in my view.

My apologies for not responding to your lovely comments over recent days.  Circumstances have meant my time is directed in other ways, while still Blip related.  I have a couple of self imposed deadlines to deliver some new content to the site relating to data protection before I head off to South Africa next week.  Very boring and mundane stuff, which you'll get to hear about in due course. Such is the exciting life of a director!
