Almost gone! 
You may well be familiar with these envelopes helpfully provided so that you can pay in cheques via the post office once the bank has closed your local branch. Silly of me to think it would be more helpful if they didn’t close the bank! We are about to lose our third in Cockermouth.  Thank goodness we are with the wonderful Cumberland!
