Ttfn Gijón

Off to Madrid for a few days r & r.

Departing from Gijon's newish "temporary" railway railway station.

The new underground multi-modal city centre train-bus-underground station is slightly delayed apparently. Meanwhile I suppose that the new tunnel that traverses Gijon can always be used to cultivate mushrooms, white asparagus or forced rhubarb.

Fair dues though; public transport in Spain is generally comfortable, reliable and efficient in my experience. I hope this evening's journey will be no exception.
