Lilac if you wondered.  There's an awful lot of it about.

We're having a mini-summer here - it should get up to 27°C on Sunday, that's just over 80°F.  It's the start of May.

I had a short day at work because I had to go see an orthopedic doctor about my shoulder.  After some x-rays I got a big cortisone injection.  I get to go back in 3 weeks for them to have another look.  I hope it  doesn't develop into a completely frozen shoulder - called Schultersteife here - that would not be funny.

I said injection there but really, coming as i do from Scotland, I didn't have an injection, I had a jag.  Another one of those only-in-Scotland words I think.
