Beech Bark Spot

Out with the spaniel this morning I saw several interesting fungi including some Death Caps and a pair of Stump Puffballs which I've not seen very often. Unfortunately I was without camera but will try and find them again tomorrow. When I did have the camera I was in a different part of the wood and came across a very old fallen beech tree. The trunk was covered in beech bark spot.
