Dutch Humor

We like to pull someones leg, specially if it's the authorities leg. We call that 'Burgerlijke Ongehoorzaamheid' (Civil disobedience) and in this case the Police Officer was our target. See the photo in the 'extra'.


What happened? 
A befriended car garage got this car for repair after crashing into a lamppost elsewhere.
It was soon decided to park this wreck into a very limited parking space with another streetlamp  in front of it and a delivery van less than a meter behind it.


From a distance it looked like the car crashed there, but once you get closer you soon start wondering how on earth this could happen as it's not humanly possible to make so much damage when parking slowly into the limited spot, but then again... it's also impossible to do it at high speed in this narrow space.


We noticed every pedestrian that passed thinking the same, so our plan worked.  Now all we had to do was wait for our copper to do his daily round.  Sure enough he was right on time and saw a the people lookin at the 'thrashed car'. 
We told him it only just happened and the driver - we thought it was an elderly lady - running away.


He immediately took control - as you see in the shot in the extra - before thinking how on earth this happend.


Then he turned around and saw us laughing our pants of. Thank God he had a good sense of humor.
