Exciting and Scary

When I was in Texas Suzanne (osuzanna) was kind enough to show me how to make the adjustments so I could take photos in Manual Mode on my newer Nikon camera; I had been unable to figure out how to make the adjustments. It only took her a few minutes to figure out which knobs to turn and which buttons to push. 

Today I sat on my deck and practiced using the Manual mode for the first time on my Nikon camera. This shot of the Downy actually turned out okay......as well as the Chick a Dee in extra. I am fearful of missing the "money shot" while I figure out the right settings......but I am excited to get some potentially better photos.  Stay tuned and see how it goes.   :-))
