Best Box Yet

This is the box I made in a three-day class taught by one of the members of my woodworking club.

The box is made of American walnut, the dovetail splines and lid handle are Peruvian walnut, and the live edge overlay on the top is spalted maple.The lid pivots on thin brass pins near the back edge.
