Amaryllis

This is my 2016 Christmas amaryllis!

After the blooms were dead and gone, instead of throwing the bulb out I planted it in my front garden. I thought; if it doesn’t do anything, nothing lost but if it does then jackpot! Looks like it is jackpot.

I was outside by 7am and hauling buckets of water enriched with plant food, to all my plants in the garden both front & back.

It was about 9am when I was done and when I looked at my activity dashboard, I had walked a mile! My legs were doing the jelly thing and so it was sit down and take a rest and read time!

I’ve been battling a headache all day and so haven’t accomplished a thing. Hope to get outside early before the heat tomorrow to do a bit of weeding.
